Probably my largest project at NetEase games, I was asked to lead a playtest front to back. With a team of just me. This was a fantastic learning experience, a daunting challenge, and despite the short deadline and other obstacles, a huge success!

NetEase Games – Player Response to Major IP Usage
Following playtests utilizing one of the largest entertainment IP’s on Earth, I was tasked with writing a report about how the players felt about the game’s use of the IP. A recent hire at the time, this was a useful learning experience.

I was asked to facilitate some market focus groups, no big deal right? What about 16 hours worth divided into 4 sessions, going from 8PM to Midnight? Certainly one of the biggest communciation challenges I’ve tackled.

Approached by a startup in college, I acted as a UX consultant / UX Lead to 2 entrepreneurs. I helped them not only redesign their entire desktop site, but create a whole new mobile design as well.

A professor, college colleague, and I had to create a huge Miro workshop. 2 days and 50+ participants, most of whom have never even heard of digital whiteboards before. AKA an uphill battle.

Empowering Casual Bicycle Consumers
My Capstone project. I preformed several methods of research to dig into why so many casual bicycle consumers and intimidated when walking into a Local Bike Shop, and designed an pre-LBS visit app to try to help.

My experience co-leading a team of undergrads and working with Hewlett Packard Enterprise in Experience Studio at Purdue. We developed a set of methodolgies to conduct remote ethnographic user research at the start of the pandemic

Coding an AR Prototyping Tool
A quick project at Purdue where I was able to utilize some of my coding chops and create a simple AR prototyping tool. Simple and lightweight, the tool could be used in rapid prototyping and ideation. Fall 2020.
